ustwo names Nicki Sprinz as CEO

We’re celebrating our twentieth anniversary by announcing that Nicki Sprinz has taken the reins as CEO!

While new to this role, Nicki has been at ustwo for a decade and has had a major impact on our work and culture in her previous roles, including Group Managing Director and Commercial Director. For instance, Nicki introduced services as a practice in the London studio and worked to reduce the gender pay gap from 13% to 0%. She also oversaw 40% revenue growth after becoming London MD in 2016 and then 35% growth in the European region as European MD among other business wins.

Nicki has taken an interesting journey to get to ustwo. She studied history at university, and followed her love of textile design to work at Drapers after graduating. She moved into journalism, and then digital by way of NHS Scotland health information. Nicki has continued this passion for healthcare and tech at ustwo, where she’s been especially proud of work for the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Moodnotes.

As CEO, Nicki will continue to grow the business within key sectors like healthcare, financial services, tech, auto and mobility. She is focused on creating products with a positive impact that are accessible, meaningful and enjoyable for customers. In the acceleration of new technologies like AI advancements, Nicki is committed to leveraging these in ways that are sustainable, powerful, empathetic and ethical.

Likewise, Nicki brings ustwo’s values as a majority employee-owned B Corp into the company culture. “Her passion has always been to support teams to create bar-raising work in an environment where they feel safe to be their authentic selves,” says ustwo co-founder John “Sinx” Sinclair.

Making breakthrough work “isn’t a solo endeavour”, Nicki says. “In my role as CEO, I intend to be a custodian to the brilliance of the team at ustwo, focusing on bringing momentum, guidance and leadership.”
