Environmental & Sustainability Policy
At ustwo, we believe business should be a force for good. As a certified B Corporation and a responsible digital product studio, we are committed to cutting our environmental impact and helping the digital industry move in a healthier direction. This policy explains how we reduce harm in our operations, bring sustainability into our work, and keep improving in a way that is practical, transparent, and shared.
We track our progress through the B Impact Assessment and use it to keep raising the bar across environmental, social, and governance topics. Our climate commitment includes a Net Zero by 2040 goal aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative. We measure our footprint across scopes, share what we learn, and focus on real reductions through better day to day decisions, smarter digital practices, and meaningful supplier engagement.
Our studios should reflect the kind of business we want to be. We aim to run on renewable energy across all locations and make intentional choices about energy, materials, and waste. That includes how we kit out our spaces, how we buy, how we reuse, and how we reduce. We want our studios to be sustainable, inclusive, and genuinely comfortable for the whole team.
In our client work, we embed environmentally mindful practices into design and development. That means designing for longevity, making choices that reduce unnecessary data and processing, and building products that are accessible, inclusive, and efficient by default. We also set clear expectations with suppliers around sustainability and ethical practices, and we consider environmental performance as part of procurement and partner decisions.
As we use AI tools and build AI powered products, we pay close attention to their environmental footprint. As better data becomes available, we use it to understand impact more accurately and reduce it through thoughtful design choices, appropriate model selection, internal metrics, and lower carbon infrastructure where possible.
This policy is reviewed annually and shared publicly to ensure accountability. Anyone can raise questions or concerns about our practices by contacting csr@ustwo.com. We remain open to feedback and committed to learning.
