Responsible Lobbying Policy

At ustwo, we believe responsible lobbying can help shape a fairer, more inclusive, and more sustainable digital industry. When we engage in lobbying, whether directly or alongside others, we do it in a way that reflects our values as a B Corp and supports positive social and environmental outcomes. We do not lobby for short term commercial gain, or to protect our interests at the expense of people or the planet.

Our approach is evidence based and impact led. Any public position we take should be grounded in transparent data and credible sources, with a preference for peer reviewed research or well documented evidence. We focus our efforts where we can add genuine value, including climate action, digital rights, accessibility, and equity.

ustwo does not make political donations of any kind. We do not provide financial or in kind contributions to political parties, candidates, or elected officials. We do not offer indirect incentives or favours. Our Code of Conduct prohibits bribery and corruption in all forms, and we provide guidance to help people identify and avoid conflicts of interest.

Sometimes we work alongside industry groups or collective initiatives that engage in policy conversations. When we do, we set expectations up front and only support organisations whose positions align with ours. If conflicts arise, we raise them and may choose to step away.

Governance of this policy sits with our Partner Board, with implementation led by our Partner for Sustainability in collaboration with our B Corp Committee and studio teams. Any formal lobbying activity, such as consultation responses or open letters, is recorded and reviewed internally.

This policy is reviewed annually and shared publicly to ensure accountability. Anyone can raise questions or concerns about our practices by contacting csr@ustwo.com. We remain open to feedback and committed to learning.

Ustwobies can find a more extensive version of this policy in our guide.
